Fees (Monthly) :$100 (two Ikebana lessons and flower materials)
If you wish to have a make-up class, please notify me 7 days in advance.
What to bring with you: Clippers, vase (or a low container), a frog (kenzan), notebook, and stationary. If you want me to prepare a frog and an ikebana vase that you use during the lesson, please let me know. I will bring them for you for free.
How and what do we arrange flowers in Ikebana lesson?
We use a suiban (a low container) and kenzan (a frog) to arrange seasonal flowers. The method is based on ikebana techniques, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. For more information is available: http://ikebanainmaine.blogspot.com/

Payment, Reservation, and Cancellation
Payment: Cash or check will do.
Reservation: Space is limited. Please email (a) your name, (b) phone number, (c) which date and time you like to attend, (d) whether you need to have a kenzan or not. I will give you a confirmation call or email as soon as possible. Email to: nycc20052000@yahoo.co.jp
Cancellation: The participants can cancel a session anytime they want. But they need to pay for their flower material if they do not cancel the workshop seven days in advance of the workshop. Flower fee is $15 for one lesson.
Naomi Ryokufu is a certified teacher of Ryusei-ha Ikebana which she
studied for seven years in her native Japan. Ryokufu, a flower name
given to her by Ryusei-ha upon completion of her studies, looks forward
to sharing her knowledge of this elegant art form.
